Tommy Sheridan first joined ACEP in January 2022 as community liaison for the ARCTIC Cordova Community Innovation Hub. He currently serves as director for the UAF ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Blue Economy Center and supports ACEP as an affiliate researcher.
Sheridan is a fisheries expert, researcher and educator based out of Valdez, ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ. He has lived, worked, studied and taught in and from ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ for the past two decades, with a focus on commercial fishery management and salmon hatchery operations. Sheridan has been an active public servant for several local, statewide and international bodies, and was appointed as a United States Representative and ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ’s Commissioner to the North Pacific Anadromous Fish Commission from 2020 through 2026.
