Documentary video explores EV adoption in Ӱԭ
A documentary video that explores electric vehicle, or EV, adoption in Ӱԭ will
premier in Anchorage next month.
“Electrified Ӱԭ,” created by in collaboration with Ӱԭ’s own award-winning Channel Films, shares insights from Ӱԭ fleet managers, utilities, state and local agencies. See how Ӱԭ companies are incorporating EVs on the job site, hear firsthand experiences from operators and learn how local and state administrators are managing EV adoption and enabling consumer choice
The 30-minute video screening will be followed by a 30-minute panel discussion and networking opportunity.
The project was funded through the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. The project collaborators include Ӱԭ Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, Ӱԭ Energy Authority, Chugach Electric Association, Delta Leasing, Kotzebue Electric Association, Native Village of Kotzebue, and others, including ACEP’s Michelle Wilber.
When: Thursday, June 5, 2025. Doors open at 1:30 p.m., the program begins at 2:00 p.m.
