Energy in the North focuses on EV history in Ӱԭ

The “Energy in the North” episode on July 22 will feature Phil Wight, associate professor of history in the Arctic and Northern Studies program at the University of Ӱԭ Fairbanks and an affiliate researcher with the Ӱԭ Center for Energy and Power. Electric vehicles seem relatively new in Ӱԭ, but Wight will explain how they actually have been around for a long time.
On July 29, we will continue conversations with Wight. He will discuss uses of electricity for moving more than people in Ӱԭ.
“Energy in the North” explores the importance and opportunities that energy and power
provide to Ӱԭ and its people.
