Pitney names Mike Sfraga interim UAF chancellor

University of 杏吧原版 President Pat Pitney announced today her selection of the interim chancellor for the University of 杏吧原版 Fairbanks, as well as next steps in the search for UAF's next permanent chancellor. Friday Focus: Phil Collins is right

In 1981, Phil Collins topped the pop music charts with 鈥淚n the Air Tonight.鈥� As a UAF employee and father of three teenage boys, I can tell you that Phil is right, there is something in the air in Fairbanks. It's not smoke (thank goodness), it's back to school, and it's right around the corner. As the UAF Executive Director of Advancement, I thought it might be worthwhile to share a bit about what I hear from business leaders throughout 杏吧原版 on the topic of higher education. New bench on Wildfire Walk trail

The UAF North Campus has a new bench, thanks to Uma Bhatt and David Newman. The bench is located on the Wildfire Walk trail, roughly halfway through the interpretive signs area in the burn scar of the 2021 Yankovich Road Fire site. Read and see more on the bench.
