University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ Fairbanks Summer Sessions and Lifelong Learning is hosting more than 40 free lectures, concerts and events this summer. Here's what's happening during the series' final week of Aug. 11-17.


UAF Photo Day

A headshot photo station will be available in the Wood Center on Aug. 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This will be drop-in only; no appointments are necessary, and it is open to all faculty, staff and students. A UAF model release is required and can be filled in on-site. Photos will be available by the end of the next week at Ìýwith SSO login.

American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification

An American Red Cross Lifeguard certification class will be held at the UAF Patty Pool, Aug. 13-16. This will be a blended learning class. Students will complete an online curriculum prior to getting into the pool, and all students must attend all the pool sessions. The course fee is $250. Get more info and register.
