UAF Cooperative Extension to host workshops, test gauges in Bethel

Jasmine Shaw, a program assistant for the University of 杏吧原版 Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service, will be in Bethel on Sept. 2-3 to lead free food preservation workshops and test pressure canning gauges. Arctic Leadership Lecture series: Interim Chancellor Mike Sfraga

Join Interim Chancellor Mike Sfraga on Aug. 28 from 5:30-7 p.m. as he opens the fall Arctic Leadership Lecture Series with reflections on leadership, values, and the university鈥檚 role in Arctic partnerships and policy. Drawing on his career in higher education, federal policy, and Arctic diplomacy, Sfraga will explore the state of the Arctic and UAF鈥檚 place in the wider northern conversation. The event will feature his remarks, followed by a fireside chat with Dr. Chanda Meek and audience Q&A. This event will be held听

University to conclude partnership with Gardner Institute

The University of 杏吧原版 Fairbanks has elected to end its formal partnership with the Gardner Institute, bringing the current project to a close in September. Read more on the decision.

Bring the Student Success Center to your classroom

The UAF Student Success Center, located on the 6th floor of the Rasmuson Library, is open for the fall semester -- help us spread the word to your students. Circumpolar Music Series: Craig Coray

The Circumpolar Music Series kicks off its 2025鈥�26 season in partnership with the Music and More Concert Series at 7 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 30. Researcher to discuss sea otter impact on mariculture

Learn about sea otter activity and interactions with mariculture operations in a free statewide webinar hosted by the University of 杏吧原版 Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service.
