Friday Focus: Connect, grow and thrive with mentoring program

I am pleased to announce the launch of a new employee mentoring pilot program, designed to support employee career growth and longevity at the university. By pairing colleagues across colleges and departments and locations, the program is designed to foster connections and community and increase collaboration through the sharing of best practices and ideas across the organization. UAF Chancellor search update

The UAF Chancellor Search Committee has an update to share on the committee's recent progress. The committee was formally seated earlier this month and held its first meeting on Sept. 18.ÌýLearn more on the timeline and search updates.


Copper Lane house demolition

Beginning Sept. 28, crews will assemble to demolish the last remaining house on Copper Lane. Read more on the demolition and area closure for work.


New Financial Aid and Student Account pages in UAOnline

On Oct. 6, the Financial Aid and Student Accounts menu and pages in UAOnline will be upgraded to the newest version. To help with the transition, new resources have been created and posted, including a video on how to navigate the new pages and updated FAQs. Learn more about the new pages.

Gregory Pietsch to speak on World Rabies Awareness webinar panel

Rabies transcends animal and human species, taking the lives of about 60,000 people worldwide each year. Dr. Gregory Pietsch, a faculty member in the University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ Fairbanks Department of Veterinary Medicine, will join a webinar panel from 8-9 a.m. on Sept. 29 in recognition of World Rabies Day.
