At UAF we are committed to the health, well-being, andÌýsafetyÌýof our students, employees and visitors. We are excited to release ourÌýannualÌýsecurityÌýandÌýfireÌýsafetyÌýreportÌýand have outlined some highlights of theÌýreportÌýbelow.
AnnualÌýsecurityÌýandÌýfireÌýsafetyÌýreport OurÌýannualÌýsecurityÌýandÌýfireÌýsafetyÌýreportÌýincludes information about campusÌýsecurityÌýand personalÌýsafety, including topics such as crime prevention, crime reporting policies, the authority
of the University Police Department, student disciplinary procedures,ÌýfireÌýsafety, sexual misconduct, hazing policy, and other policies that reflectÌýsafetyÌýandÌýsecurityÌýon campus. Campuses addressed in theÌýreportÌýinclude: Troth Yeddha’ Campus (Fairbanks), Community and Technical College, Aviation
Facility, Pipeline Training Center, Bristol Bay Campus, Chukchi Campus, Kuskokwim
Campus, Northwest Campus, Tok Center, Kasitsna Bay Laboratory, Lena Point Fisheries
Facility, Seward Marine Center, Fort Wainwright, and Eielson Air Force Base.
TheÌýreportÌýalso contains statistics regarding certain crimes reported as having occurred on campus;
in certain non-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by UAF; or on property
within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, any UAF campus. We share this
data in order to provide transparency to, and insight for, members of our community.
