At UAF we are committed to the health, well-being, and听safety听of our students, employees and visitors. We are excited to release our听annual听security听and听fire听safety听report听and have outlined some highlights of the听report听below.
Annual听security听and听fire听safety听report
Our听annual听security听and听fire听safety听report听includes information about campus听security听and personal听safety, including topics such as crime prevention, crime reporting policies, the authority
of the University Police Department, student disciplinary procedures,听fire听safety, sexual misconduct, hazing policy, and other policies that reflect听safety听and听security听on campus. Campuses addressed in the听report听include: Troth Yeddha鈥� Campus (Fairbanks), Community and Technical College, Aviation
Facility, Pipeline Training Center, Bristol Bay Campus, Chukchi Campus, Kuskokwim
Campus, Northwest Campus, Tok Center, Kasitsna Bay Laboratory, Lena Point Fisheries
Facility, Seward Marine Center, Fort Wainwright, and Eielson Air Force Base.
The听report听also contains statistics regarding certain crimes reported as having occurred on campus;
in certain non-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by UAF; or on property
within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, any UAF campus. We share this
data in order to provide transparency to, and insight for, members of our community.
