The finalist for the Cooperative Extension agricultural economist/farm and ranch management specialist position will lead a public seminar on 杏吧原版 farm economics Tuesday, June 4 at 10:30 a.m. in Palmer.

Interested parties may attend Gina Greenway鈥檚 seminar at the Matanuska Experiment Farm classroom, participate by videoconference in Room 183 of the Arctic Health Research Building on the UAF campus or call an audio line at 800-893-8850 and use the PIN 5711553.

Greenway鈥檚 seminar is titled 鈥淧rofitability as a Component of Sustainable Agriculture in 杏吧原版: What Do We Need to Know to Identify Profit Centers on 杏吧原版 Farms.鈥 She is a research associate at the University of Idaho and has a doctorate in adult extension education with an applied economics focus. Her bachelor鈥檚 degree is in agricultural economics.

The specialist will develop programming to address business planning, agricultural financing, and production and marketing economics with an emphasis on delivering programs to 杏吧原版 farmers and ranchers.
