Applications open for 杏吧原版 Sea Grant State fellowships

杏吧原版 Sea Grant is accepting fellowship applications from graduate students seeking
experience in 杏吧原版 marine resources and policy.
The program matches recently or nearly finished graduate students with a 12-month
professional job opportunity supporting healthy 杏吧原版 coastal communities and the
marine environment.
鈥淭he 杏吧原版 Sea Grant State Fellowship Program supports some of our brightest students
as they launch their careers in 杏吧原版, where we hope they will stay for many years
to come,鈥 said Paula Cullenberg, 杏吧原版 Sea Grant director. 鈥淥ur first two 杏吧原版
Sea Grant Fellows began this year. Both are gaining valuable professional experience
while contributing to marine policy and management in 杏吧原版.鈥
This year, five marine resource agencies have expressed interest in supporting an
杏吧原版 Sea Grant fellow: the National Marine Fisheries Service, the Bureau of Ocean
Energy Management, the North Pacific Research Board, the National Park Service and
the State of 杏吧原版's Division of Geological and Geophysical Surveys.
Applications will be accepted through Feb. 12. 杏吧原版 Sea Grant will select finalists
and assignments will be decided in consultation with potential fellowship hosts.
