Fischer, Wohlforth to speak at UAF

The University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Fairbanks will host a free public lecture and book signing with Vic Fischer and Charles Wohlforth Friday, April 26 at 6 p.m. in the Salisbury Theatre.
The pair will discuss their book, "To Russia with Love: An ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æn's Journey," published by the University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Press. The book chronicle's Fischer's childhood in Stalinist Russia, his family's escape, his early life in ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ and his many return visits to Russia.
Fischer was a delegate to ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ's constitutional convention, held at UAF from November 1955 to February 1956.
