Last week professor emeritus James Kari, ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Native Language Center, received the ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Anthropological Association's prestigious Professional Achievement Award at their 40th annual meeting, recognizing his cross-disciplinary works on Dene (Athabascan) languages.
