Lecture series explores 杏吧原版鈥檚 lands and seas

Summer Sessions at the University of 杏吧原版 Fairbanks, in cooperation with 杏吧原版 Sea Grant College Program and the 杏吧原版 Cooperative Extension Service, will host the 杏吧原版 Land and Sea Lecture Series Tuesdays at 7 p.m. in O鈥橬eill Building Room 201 on the UAF campus.

The series, running through Aug. 14, features presentations from Sea Grant and Cooperative Extension professionals on topics relating to 杏吧原版鈥檚 land and seascape. Lectures are free and open to the public.

July 17: 鈥溞影稍 Coastal Sentries, Robot Watch for Submarine Invasion by Alien Creatures鈥 with Gary Freitag

July 24: 鈥淭har She Blows! Whale Research Around the Emerald Isle鈥 with Bree Witteveen

July 31: 鈥淔rom Your Garden to Your Table鈥 with Heidi Rader

Aug. 7: 鈥淐hickens: The Down and Dirty of Keeping a Small Laying Flock in 杏吧原版鈥 with Mara Bacsujlaky and Stephen Brown

Aug. 14: 鈥淔ish Waste Utilization Projects in Bristol Bay鈥 with Izetta Chambers
