Lectures offer insight on the octopus, ethnobotany

The University of �Ӱ�ԭ�� Fairbanks is hosting free �Ӱ�ԭ��-themed lectures throughout the summer, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 7 p.m. in Schaible Auditorium on the UAF campus.

On Tuesday, Aug. 2, Reid Brewer will offer the Land and Sea Lecture, “Pacific Octopus: The Eight-Legged Wonder of the World.”

On Wednesday, Aug. 3, Amy Breen and Rose Meier will give the Discover �Ӱ�ԭ�� Lecture, “Ethnobotany: Traditional Uses and Knowledge of Native Plants.”
