Mary Ehrlander wins 2018 ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æna Award

Mary Ehrlander, director of the Arctic and Northern Studies Program and a professor
of history, is the recipient of the 2018 ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æna Award for her book “Walter Harper:
ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Native Son."A formal award presentation will take place at the annual conference of the ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Library Association on March 10 in Anchorage.
The ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æna award was established in the early 1994 to honor outstanding adult fiction and nonfiction works about ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ that make a significant contribution to the understanding of ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ and that exhibit originality, depth of research and knowledge of the state.
