Norcross, Jewett receive fishery award

Professor Brenda Norcross and Professor Emeritus Stephen Jewett, both of the College
of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences, were co-recipients the 2018 Wally Noerenberg Award
for Fishery Excellence at the joint ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Chapter/Western Division of the American
Fisheries Society meeting in Anchorage on May 23.
This is the highest award the ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ chapter bestows as a special honor on individuals
who have made great and outstanding contributions to ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ fisheries. Both received
$1,000 checks.
