Six UAF employees join Innovators Hall of Fame

Six UAF employees were among the 10 ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æns recently inducted into the ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Innovators
Hall of Fame. The 2021 inductees were honored at a live presentation during the 2021
Innovation Summit, hosted by the Juneau Economic Development Council last week.
UAF inductees were: F. Stuart (Terry) Chapin, Syun-Ichi Akasofu, John E. Walsh, Greg
Shipman, Don Hampton and Orion Lawlor.
The ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ State Committee on Research created the ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Innovators Hall of Fame
in 2014 to celebrate and honor outstanding individuals who are leaders in innovation
and contribute to growing ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ’s culture of innovation.
