Volcano reports added to KUAC FM lineup

Starting Friday, Feb. 7, the ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Volcano Observatory will present a new, weekly,
two-minute program to inform KUAC FM radio listeners of volcanic activity among ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ's
54 active volcanoes. Every week, AVO will deliver scientific insights and a review
of which volcanoes are erupting and which are just rumbling.AVO is a cooperative effort of the U.S. Geological Survey, the UAF Geophysical Institute and the State of ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Division of Geological and Geophysical Surveys. The program will be aired each Friday at 4:30 p.m. during "All Things Considered."
