Workshop to focus on home accessibility

The University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service will host a workshop Friday in Fairbanks on adapting homes for seniors and people with disabilities.
Energy specialist Art Nash will teach the class from 5 to 7 p.m. at the North Star Council on Aging Senior Center at 1424 Moore St.
ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ has the fastest growing senior population, yet housing stock lacks the adaptations that allow older ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æns to stay in their homes as long as possible.
