As a new student, there are some things that you need to do before you meet with your academic advisor to pick classes. Enrollment Coaches will help you knock out those tasks so you're ready to roll.

Enrollment Coaches

An enrollment coach is an experienced, current UAF student who’ll assist you with pre-advising requirements. All UAF enrollment coaches can help you with things like how to access your UA student account, finding campus housing, taking exams and connecting with IT. You'll also get basic information on financial aid, the Honors College and Student Support Services when you talk with them.

If you're hoping to register for classes or start planning your degree, you'll wait to do that with an academic advisor after you've met with an enrollment coach.

Then you're ready to meet with an academic advisor! If you're hoping to register for classes or look through your degree progress, you'll do that with an academic advisor. Either visit the Nanook Advisors page or log in to Nanook Navigator to find your advisor and schedule an appointment with them.
