The Delta Junction district serves an area centered on the junction of the ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Highway and the Richardson Highway in Interior ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ. This area includes the communities of Delta Junction, Big Delta, Delta Clearwater, Fort Greely and Dry Creek. Approximately 5,100 people live in the area, about a quarter of whom are transient workers in the U.S. armed forces or seasonal workers.
Delta is one of ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æâ€™s agricultural centers, with oats, barley and hay as the major crops. Outreach includes programs in agriculture and horticulture; integrated pest management; and health, home and family development.

54th Delta Farm Forum
The 54th annual Delta Farm Forum will be Saturday, Feb. 28. 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
The Delta Farm Forum is an annual event for the ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Interior agriculture and farming community. Throughout the day relevant information will be presented from agricultural producers, scientists and researchers, representatives from businesses and agricultural agencies. A sit-down potluck luncheon will be served noon to 1:30 p.m. Door prizes from our sponsors are given away throughout the day - must be present to win!
