Forums scheduled for CTC dean candidates

Two candidates for dean of the UAF Community and Technical College will give a public lecture on Tuesday, April 9 as part of the selection process. Individual, one-hour presentations by Carl Bishop and Kevin Kovalycsik will focus on their vision for CTC. There will be an opportunity for candidates to answer questions from the audience. The public forums will be held at the UAF CTC Downtown Center at 604 Barnette Street and also available on Zoom. Both sessions will be recorded.

BLaST celebrates Gabriel Miller as March 2024 Scientist of the Month

Gabriel Miller is a second-year BLaST Scholar and plans to graduate in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Cell and Molecular Biology. He is from the small village of Ninilchik, ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ, where he has lived all his life. His hobbies include drawing, hiking, insect collecting, and any other activities outside in nature. Miller’s career goal is to enter the biomedical research field after graduate school. He recently was accepted to the University of Virginia’s Neuroscience Ph.D. program where he plans to focus in neuroimmunology.
