Fabrication
Do you need six open-top chambers, four solar panel stands, and 10 greenhouses? Or did that bracket/stand/tripod, etc. not work exactly as you had hoped? We can offer assistance with design and planning, training with the required tools, and help along the way to make sure that you can complete your project safely. This includes building something new from scratch or modifying what you have. We have trained staff who can help with welding, drilling, cutting, and light machining of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Equipment Repair & Setup
The MEF team can assist with setup, maintenance, and repairs of a variety of lab equipment, including, but not limited to, Reverse Osmosis and deionization water systems, vacuum pumps, and drying ovens.
Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
While we always recommend that you have your vehicle inspected and serviced in Fairbanks or Anchorage, our qualified staff can provide help with preventative maintenance and emergency repairs (oil changes, tire repair, etc.).
Technical & Winter Season Support
The Maintenance, Equipment Support & Fabrication team can provide technical support both in the field and at the station for troubleshooting, repair, design, or construction. Depending on the nature of the work and time of year, the EDC team might take the lead. Make sure to let us know what you need help with well in advance via our Support Request System!
Renewable Energy
Our staff can assist with installation, training, and maintenance of small renewable energy systems. Depending on the power demands and location, wind and solar can be a viable year-round option for your project.
