UAF chancellor finalists, campus visit dates announced

Four finalists in the search for a new chancellor at the University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Fairbanks will visit Fairbanks and the Troth Yeddha' Campus the week of May 4-8. Each finalist will spend a day meeting with various campus groups and will participate in two open forums in the Schaible Auditorium and online.

Lumber grading training scheduled for Anchorage

The ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Lumber Grading program will hold a free certification course in Anchorage from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28. The program, part of the University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service, is designed to allow small and medium-scale sawmill operators to produce dimension lumber for home construction in ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ.
